Gator For a Day

So about two weeks ago, I applied for the “Gator for a Day” program at UF. I found out today that I was accepted and the scheduled date for me to go is only a couple days after I find out if I get in or not. So does this mean that I will be admitted to UF? Because they already assigned me the name of the person that I’m supposed to shadow, when I’m supposed to be there, etc. I’m wondering this because I can’t imagine that they would bother scheduling this for me after the decision if they knew that I wouldn’t go to this because I am getting rejected. I doubt anyone really knows the answer, but I figured I’d might as well ask.

I think they are probably scheduled separately. I think if you DON’T get in, your should probably cancel the Gator For A Day. Otherwise, awkward. Unless you get waitlisted.

UF doesn’t use a waitlist… :frowning:

Good Luck!

They are scheduled completely separately. Gator for a day is run by a student club, they would have no way to know if you have been accepted or not.

I got accepted to PaCE, so if anyone ever wants to try this right before decision day, it might work.
