<p>I just graduated from Bowdoin this year, and I couldn’t be more excited about the direction that the gay community there is taking. In just four years, from the time I came out during the fall of my freshman year up to today, the level of acceptance, activity, and actual number of glbtq students has sky rocketed. </p>
<p>Bowdoin is not oberlin or wesleyan, but queer life is getting to be pretty interesting up here in Brunswick. You will definitely not be alone and you will have a lot of opportunities to get involved and expand the community and its reach on campus.</p>
