any idea about which schools have the biggest gay/lesbian communities, either within the school, or in the surrounding areas??? I'm specifically thinking Ivy League, so if anyone knows about it there, I'd like to know.

I've heard Dart. My friend, who's sister goes there and is a lesbian, tells me there is a pretty large lesbian population

Ha. Thats just my luck. Thats the one Ivy that everyones been telling me I would HATE! lol. oh well. thanks though.

hehe what are the chances. Well I guess they're 1/8 :p

lol. good point.

A gay friend of mine is going to Yale and her gf is going to Harvard. I don't know if your a guy or a girl, but all girl schools like Wellsley generally have a large gay poulation, too.

ya. i'm a girl. u know i never even took into consideration the fact that an all girls school might be good. Wow, im slow. lol. But I'll look into Wellsley. Thats a good school right?

Yah it's nearly Ivy, veeery good. Smith is also really good and I believe had a relatively large lesbian community. Actually the girl going to Yale was deciding between Yale and Smith.

Edit: Just keep in mind that all girl schools can get reallly catty! While you may not need guys for everything, they still make great friends and you need some testosterone to balance it all out :p Plus it's not exactly the "real world" It's like taking 1/2 the population away so you lose a certain amount of opinion diversity that I personally think you need in life.

I think Smith has an even larger lesbian community than the other all girls school. Barnard on the other hand will have a much, much smaller lesbian community than the others

well, if none of the ivy's end up having big lesbian communities, i know what schools i can resort too!
