<p>when you are applying online, in activity section, what if you want to put more than 6 activities? what if you run out of spaces??</p>
<p>and in Hours/Week blank, do you have to put total amount of hours you did activity? or is it asking you how often you participated acitivity? </p>

<p>I filled out the spaces for activities on the common app and then sent a resume along with it. The common app part is just for the activities that are the most important to you. In my opinion, you should ALWAYS include a resume with every app.</p>

<p>Put the number of hours in the typical week you did that activity.</p>
<p>So- typical week for me would be six hours of colorguard practice, six hour of dance lessons, and maybe one hour of mentoring.</p>
<p>As for the running out of space... I don't know what to tell you. But just no more than six activities. It's supposed to be the most important ones only. I had plenty of room... but then again I did the common app on paper, not online.</p>
