Ill be starting undergrad in a little more than a month. I already have a good basic understanding of Chemistry and i was just wondering what you people use to learn general chemistry outside of college. I started using KhanAcademy and found the videos to give very good intuition. Does anybody else use this? Will this get me through General Chemistry 1?

Attend every lecture and discussion,
read the current subject text before each lecture,
take comprehensive notes,
understand everything the lecture includes, (don’t gloss over anything)
use office hours if needed,(if you need help, don’t procrastinate)
do all assignments and homework (then do more problems until it feels “natural”)

This is what I do, it’s worked so far :D

I think the Khan Academy videos on chemistry are too basic for the introductory college level (with the exception of some of the thermodynamics ones).

I did none of what the above poster did and still got As in general chemistry, but I guess what works best also depends on the person (certainly the above is the most common advice people give for success in all classes, and you should try it). I would also try to find out exactly how the professor/TA grades exams (such as policies on sig figs, units, etc) and what they look for in answers. Having a solutions manual to the textbook is also very helpful. I had a good textbook (Chang 10e) and learned much from it, so that was useful for me as well. Some people say that forming study groups with other students was helpful for them.

If you want video lectures this guy has videos suited for the college level (because, well, he is a college professor):

If there are topics not covered by him you can just enter the name of the topic into the Youtube search box and you should get videos from various people teaching the subject.
If you ever cover crystal structures I’ve found this video (and the subsequent one to it) very, very useful:
