Can someone comment on TCU’s Core Curriculum? It says a range of 39-63 hours is required to satisfy the Core Curriculum, and that seems like a lot of classes. Thanks.
You can double dip many of those hours. There is a grid on the website where you can see how you can “double dip” requirements. For example, one class may qualify for both the social science requirement and the cultural awareness requirement. A 3 hour class knocks out 6 hours of core. That’s why you see 39-63. It’s very possible to achieve it in 39-45. My daughter will be 6 hours short of completing her core after the end of her freshman year due to AP credit and double dipping
