Geometry Regents June 2017

To everyone that feels like they screwed up really bad, I don’t think anyone was expecting a test thissss hard. There were so many little details and conversions and vague, unclear wordings that were easy to miss. I would say don’t get too upset at yourself, especially since you probably performed worse after stressing out about the questions.

Guys the state gives partial credit for pretty much anything
It’s pretty hard to get 0 points for a question unless it is COMPLETELY off

lets discuss the geom regents lol def took the L

the Freda question is 210 mph because it said it was flying directly over her head and it didnt say it flew directly over her head. If its flying toward her and only not away from her, Freda cannot be in between the two points. The angle of elevation was on the same side of Freda.

Who failed? I almost did!

my grade isn’t out yet :frowning:

Daughter barely passed and had about an A average going into it

I got a 90 I got both of the omitted questions right so it didn’t affect my grade

What were the omitted questions?

14, the dilation roman numeral one
well it wasnt omitted but they accepted 2 answers, and they were the only ones that made sense
and 22 was a mc proof question i dont know why they gave everyone credit for that, the answer was pretty clear

Got my score yesterday. I thought that the test was kind of fair but excessively tricky and unlike previous tests. I’m pretty good at math and took 6 practice tests of the 6 most recent ones, finishing in about an hour each and getting 98+ each time but on the real test I got 96 :frowning:

I got a 99. It was stupid #11! Totally unfair
