I have been accepted into George Washington University and the University of Pittsburgh for biomedical engineering. If i go to GWU I’ll pay around 13,000 a year and if I go to Pitt I’d be paying around 23,000. I know Pitt is a better engineering school, but I am not sure how much better it is than GWU and if it is even worth the extra 10,000 for Pitt. Any response will help!
well, I’m kind of in the same place as you and if, IF i get off of gw waitlist I will go to GW. my other option is La Verne :-& and I have a good feeling of getting off the waitlist. Im going into polysci and obviously GW is where its at. I suggest visiting both. You have to know if you see yourself there and if you do you can always call Pitt and ask if POSSIBLY they could raise your awards. Show them how badly you want to go there and maybe they can move some money around. if your numbers are good and show commitment then maybe they will raise it
@LilBSavedMe Go look on pitt forum for threads on why pitt bioe. I am not familiar with GWU (except knowing people who went there for polisci and other arts&science majors.
