I need some advice on my Essay #1. I go into detail on what I want to major in and then how I got introduced to georgetown (every step), and then I talk why i want to major in history at georgetown
Is this the right way to go about the prompt?

There is no right way. As long as you can make it work, it works. I personally talked about how I was introduced to the school, my campus-visit, and why I am choosing Georgetown (or better yet, why Georgetown should choose me) to study what I want to study. Perhaps a lot of reading about the prospective history program at Georgetown can add depth and insight to your essay.

I would definitely have either a teacher or someone with good English knowledge read over it before you submit. A second opinion is always great, no matter how good of a writer you are.

Yes, I am going to ask my English teacher to read one of my essays, and then my dad to just proofread my other two
