has anyone called and figured out what is taking the SFS decisions so long?

I've called several times. I asked them a lot of questions and they were able to answer only very few questions in a vague manner. Every question seemed to be answered with "We will let you know by June 1st." -The End.

Totally not cool. Not cool at all.

Agreed. At least you're not alone. haha

yeah i kind of figured that "by June 1st" meant mid-may. now im realizing that they were serious about this whole "making applicants wait until the last possible second" thing. there's no way that it takes them until june to make these decisions. they're just being mean.

Steve,

There is no way you did not get into SFS considering you got into P. Yes, admissions are random, but if I had to bet, I would bet on your admission.

I don't know what the hell they are doing with the SFS decisions but this is very unprofessional.

matm: i would like to think that, but SFS has a much lower admit rate than penn did, doesnt it? penn prob took about 150 and sfs will prob take 40ish.

i think that you stand a good chance bc of your work with the think-tank. by the way, how did you get involved with that?

Yeah, one way or the other, I don't see you not being a competetive candidate. With respect to the think tank, I just read an article online and there were referenced. I did some background research, and got an internship. Then, I kind of just worked my way up.

thats really awesome...thats probably one of the coolest internships ive heard of yet

has anyone heard anything???
