Penn to release transfer decisions on...

5/16, 5/23, 5/30 (in batches, rolling-wise based on how early you turned in your application; that doesn't mean you were at a disadvantage if you turned it in close to the deadline, it just means that you'll receive your decision a little later in the whole decision-releasing process)

Call and find out for yourself, that's what I was told.

Hopefully it's earlier?

well that does seem accurate, because they usually send out decisions on Fridays. I was just hoping the first batch would be 5/9 rather than 5/16, but obviously the latter date is closer to mid-May. well 3 school weeks to go...

oh my god I turned my app just before the deadline

MAN! I was hoping it would come out earlier!

I turned my app in on march 2nd...>_< maybe 4 more weeks ? sad..

...I thought that they did admissions decisions based on the 1st round being clear admits and clear rejects and the 3rd for those "waitlisted" to see how many people from the 1st round enroll...

yup, that what I got from other threads.... but no way to confirm..

yea....

collegeguy: did they tell you the number of applicants this year?

how many of them are international?

I hate how Penn doesn't release official figures of applicants & acceptances by school (cas, seas, wharton).

no indication of numbers, but if you've called, sometimes random people answer and say stuff like " we accept about 25 kids out of approximately 400-450 applicants to the wharton school"

thats wharton competitive

how about seas
hopefully no one applied this year. hahaha
