I’d email Caitlin Jones to ask if one of the programs is filled. Here email is on the website I believe

When I got accepted back in Feb. there were 20+ people in the program. Today there are 94 listed as accepted. It keeps going up each week. I have no idea what the limit will be.

Where can I check the status of availability for the summer college programs?

^ Yeah, I’m wondering that, too.

I just emailed Caitlin Jones. I hope she responds! :)

Lol, I’ll email her tomorrow too.Plus, I’m confused about what level I should be placed in.

^^ What program are you interested in doing? Thank goodness for their rolling admissions.

The IR one, but we’ll see. I mean, it’s really just a shot in the dark – I have other plans for the summer, either way.

I emailed her a week back, and she said that there are spots still open. I’m sending in my apps this week!

Oh really?!? Maybe i should do it too…

Since this is a paid program, does it look bad for juniors?

Oh great! I think I want to apply too.

Just got my acceptance to the IR program. Who else is going?

I got my acceptance today, and am going to attend the IR seminar as well.
Anyone else?

i’m going! so excited! where are you guys from?

I did a summer program at Georgetown before my senior year and had a great time. It prepared me for handling college classes, which are mostly lectures and then tests (big difference from high school), and living on my own for a month. I loved DC and I go back whenever I can. I decided not to apply at Georgetown, although I applied and was accepted off the waitlist at Dartmouth, but I had a grrreat time at Georgetown. It’s all about the environment.

Moving in on Sunday July 5th… anyone else going to the summer college?

I’m moving in the fifth too for fundamentals of business

Yeah, I’m going to the summer college and I’m taking Intro to Sociology. Do you know if the dorms have refrigerators or do you have to rent one through the school?

Is the program extremely selective to get into? and also has anyone applied to Georgetown’s 2010 high school summer programs yet?

Georgetown Summer Program: I went to the Politics one last summer and enjoyed it. A lot of college style lectures though, but you do a simulation and other activities too. I don’t believe it is selective at all. My impression is that they accept everyone who applies until it fills. It certainly has no relation to Georgetown Admissions.

oh I figured but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to go and get a feel for the campus and such, well anyway thanks for your help!
