I recently applied rob Georgetown’s one-week summer program, and has some questions about admission. When Georgetown says that to apply you need to be in “good academic standing,” what does this mean? Also, do most applixants receive a spot in the program? Thanks!!!
Any answers would be appreciated!
I went to one of these programs as a rising sophomore. I’m not exactly sure what they consider good, but when I applied I had a 4.2 GPA. I’m sure above a 3.0 would be fine. I’m not sure of the acceptance rate either, but I didn’t apply until late Feb, and since it’s rolling admissions, you should be fine.
I went to the leadership program last year as a rising sophomore and I have a 3.5 gpa, and was accepted with no problem. I’m pretty sure that they accept majority of the people as there were a bunch of kids with different grades in my program. It was a great experience and I plan to return for the law institute this summer.
