No word yet, I’m in LA, s not expecting much until tomorrow. Fingers crossed though. It is a bit stressful to be talking to my friends who are hearing back from Ivy’s and still hearing nothing haha.

My best friend just got into Duke, and another one of my friends got into Princeton yesterday! I’m so happy for them but it’s making me even more nervous for tomorrow

Over 20 people applied early to Ivies (mainly UPenn) from my school this year and all of them got deferred/rejected, which is terrifying on a whole other level given how good their stats were… I don’t even want to think about what that says for GU results tomorrow. (Also, no word yet from PA either)

@alig109 One of my friends was accepted to UPenn ED! He was the only one at my school to do so. I think it just comes down to competitiveness, really. The more people who apply in one single area, the harder it is for anyone to get in, at least that’s my experience.
Does anyone know if the acceptances come as large letters or as packages?
You will get a letter with three sheets
@dowzerw they all come in small envelopes regardless of what’s inside
@dowzerw the envelopes for acceptance / deferral are basically indistinguishable from the outside from what I’ve heard

That is because you are an international applicant. Domestics don’t get acceptance emails.
