I've been accepted to the liberal arts colleges at Georgetown and Northwestern, and I can't decide where to go. I have a very broad range of interests: I've always been a strong math student, I like history (although it's definitely a challenge for me), I'm interested in politics, I like to read and write, and I'd like to be involved in some music program. At this point I have zero career plans. I would like a more traditional college experience, but that's not necessarily a priority for me. And I'm pretty liberal, if that makes a difference.

Politics would be best at Georgetown but I think math would be better at Northwestern (although not positive on that one). I think it’s more about fit although I would say Northwestern is a little more (but pretty much insignificant) prestigious. I say, go for fit at this point. Visit both and see which one you like better!

In terms of academic interests I would say Georgetown but in terms of social life/campus culture I would say Northwestern (based on what you have said). Maybe if you provide a little more information I could help better. Northwestern has a great music offerings and Georgetown has a great government program.
