I got accepted to both Northwestern University and Georgetown. I have no idea what I want to do or what I want to major in. I also live on the east coast and am having a really hard time deciding between these two. I know that a lot of people hate these threads and I'm the one who ultimately has to make the decision, but if you guys could help me by posting some pro's and con's or just bouncing ideas on what you guys would do would be really helpful. Thanks so much.

If you have no idea what you want to do/major in, I’d suggest you go to Northwestern, as it is a more “well-rounded” university, with strengths across a broad range of disciplines. Georgetown is super awesome at politics (domestic and international) but unremarkable in most other fields.

You can’t go wrong with either one though. They are both fantastic schools. Congratulations!

What’s the situation financially?

I haven’t gotten the financial packages yet but I’m lower middle class public school kid. And yeah that’s the problem because right now I’m leaning towards politics but just not sure. It could truly go anyway right now. Thanks for your input guys.

any other suggestions? (bump)

sorry posted again by accident
