Help!! I've been accepted to these schools but I cannot decide which to go to. Georgetown gave me an awesome financial aid package, but I know that they don't have the most reputable pre-med program. I like New York as well, but I don't think their pre-med is as good as the others. I'm not completely sure I want to go to Berkeley or LA because they are pretty big and I would rather go to a smaller school. Any advice??

First time I have ever seen that comment about GU, which is what I’d recommend. I like that they have a defined campus, walled off, and great school spirit; in contrast, NYU is Manhattan.

btw: the UCs have absolutely terrible advising.

I’d also go with GU. Best spirit/campus/advising. I agree that UC advising sucks.

I would also pick Georgetown if the finances are good. UCB and UCLA might be the most competitive places to do pre med in the country and they do seem to have poor advising. Do well at UCB or UCLA and you are competitive with anyone but most do not survive.

stupid question.
no premed is better than others from an adcom view (unless you are going academic)

Go where you will want to spend four years and where you can afford

^No, it’s not a stupid question.

Adcoms may view all premeds in the same way, but there are colleges that make premed a little less competitive, provide better advising, and have more research opportunities. Asking about premed life at four schools is a very smart thing to do. It’s not like OP is just going to pick a name out of a hat and attend.
