Georgetown vs. Tufts

I am in the midst of making a tough decision between Georgetown (SFS) and Tufts. I am planning on majoring in IR, but I don't have enough experience in it/with it to really know if that's what I want to pursue. Any advice, any one facing a similar situation? Thank you! Any input is appreciated.

I picked Georgetown over Tufts. Tufts is a very good school for IR and languages, but I frankly don't think it is at all worth the cost whereas Georgetown almost is. And while Tufts has a good location, I don't think you can beat D.C. for IR and politics (and Georgetown sure beats Medford). Just my two cents. Congrats on both.

I made the same decision. I can't even say there's one reason why, but it just seemed like the right thing for me.

oh god I am faced with this decision RIGHT NOW and it is DRIVING ME UP A WALL

Go with Georgetown

I definitely got the feeling that Georgetown is stronger academically, especially if it is SFS. SFS is as good as any school in the country.

For those of you who plan on majoring in IR, what career do you want to have?
