<p>So the first required essay for georgretown (you do it no matter which school you apply to) wants the applicant to basically describe themselves to the admissions office. However, it says that the essay length is roughly one page long, but does not specify if that is single-spaced or double-spaced. Does anyone know? My essay is 1.75 pages long double spaced, just so you know.</p>
<p>I’m sure it’s one page in the standard single-spaced, size 12 font Times New Roman etc. If they wanted it double spaced they would say so. 500 words is roughly 1 page, and I’ve seen that as the required length for a couple of other colleges I’ve written essays for.</p>
