<p>One thing that I'd like to bring to your attention is that people who don't do well in the EE program tend to go into Tech's business school. I'm from GA and that happened with many of my friends, and they lament at the lack of funding and opportunities they find there. Also, while more funding is finally going to non-engineering areas, that is still the obvious focus and I know many people who transfer out to UGA or even GA State because they find better opportunities there.</p>
<p>So in short, it's great for engineering- especially EE- if you can cut it, but it's a difficult program.</p>
<p>Do they still sing this school song, "I'm a ramblin wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an Engineer." ? :)</p>
