SAT/ACT: N/A; about to take it (haven’t yet) but want to know my chances without this score
I think ACT/SAT scores are and important part of the admissions process, so compare yours to the median scores, which you can look up on the GT website. I think a lot of GT applicants take BC Calculus. I would retake BC Calculus even though it overlaps AB Calculus if you can. Take it on line or at a community college if you are already a senior this year but I take it you are a junior, given that you have not taken your ACT/SAT. But if you are a senior, just sign up for Calculus 1 or 2 at a local college if you can. Its important to show that you can master calculus to get into Georgia Tech. Your score of 4 is good but your poor grade in math may really hurt you, so just repeat it, if it was a C. I think there is a way to take calculus at GT as a Georgia high school student too, can you do that?
Your strong interest in CS and abilities should help your application. But even CS majors need to take substantial math classes and many GT applicants do get a 5 on the BC Calculus exam, which is an indicator for success at Tech.
Good luck!
