My daughter was rejected. Kind of surprised. Was expecting a deferral, but oh well.

12 AP
NMS
Lots of ec, volunteer hours, leadership, etc.
@123wz321 Top 5% class rank in a student pool of 800, OOS. Some community service in church, unweighted 3.97, choir 4 years, 1410 SAT, no big ECs to speak about…, 11 APs, AP scholar with distinction… that’s all. When I saw stellar SATs and ECs on this thread I already knew;) Good luck to everyone else.
My son got deffered. So upset.

ACCEPTED!!!
Got deferred
1520 SAT, expected Valedictorian, 790 Math and 750 Physics Subject Tests, pretty good ECs including some national awards, applying for CS
Anybody know what the deferral rate is?
got rejected for 2019, but can transfer in 2020 through the Arts & Sciences Pathway Program (basically just have to have a 3.3 gpa and min of 30 credits). honestly pretty happy about this considering the oos acceptance rate was around 14% this year.
3.8 gpa at a college prep school (#1 school in Wisconsin), all honors classes with a few ap’s, 32 composite act and 33 ss, pretty good essays + recs, tons of ECs I’ve done all 4 years
Was your daughter OOS? My son won’t check his til late afternoon as he has an interview at 2. I am stressed!
Rejected CS OOS with a top 1% SAT… I don’ like to post stats…also lots of ECs and good grades with high rigor like AP Physics C, AP Calc BC etc.
