Am getting super nervous about the low OOS rate!! If anyone would like to be brutally honest with me that’d be great.
@wowbears It may depend more on how many they can take EA, and that number may be set. Since they had 20,000 EA apps, the rate may drop.
20% were accepted EA. Go to @gtadmission Twitter and go to tweets and replies.
Hey @Arthurnick223 sounds like you’re another Bay Area senior. My D19 is waiting to hear tomorrow, too. You seem like a really good applicant!!! My son (7th grade) started Berkeley Math last year and while kind of curses us for having to do it, I know he loves it on some level. He IS excited to start Math Circles, which he thinks sounds like more fun! D19 volunteered at Lawrence Hall of Science. Did you volunteer there or at Chabot? It’s so nice to have all of these things in our back yard. Good luck to you!!!
Hey @crknwk2000 I volunteered at Chabot but it is nice to have so many great opportunities available. Good luck as well!
Hi @jaydata I see where GT says they received 20,000 EA apps, but not where they state they accepted 20%. I looked in tweets and replies. Where do I find it?
Last year they admitted 28% EA. 33% were deferred.
Replying to @smoulton13
Likely around 20% this year.

@jaydata That’s the expected overall acceptance percentage, not for EA

Anyone have any insight about what TIME today I should hear from Tech on my EA application? I’m sort of obsessivley checking my email/portal and need to get on with my day!
