Georgia Tech Graduate School

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working towards my BSEE at the University of Central Florida. My current program GPA is 3.56. After graduation, I would like to pursue a MSEE at Georgia Tech as the school has a program track directly related to my career. I’ve been in the power generation industry for the last five years and I have gone back to school for advancement purposes. I’ve heard it’s hard to get accepted to GT for undergrad study. Is it just as hard or harder to be accepted into grad school? I’ve also read that people are concerned that a lack of research is a hindrance to being accepted. Does experience in the field trump research? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
