<p>I'm a first year UGA and I'm hoping to transfer to Tech for fall 2011. I've looked over the requirements and I think I might have a chance of getting in (4.0 GPA, 30 transferable hours and all required courses completed through either AP scores or actual class work). I really wanted to hear from someone who has successfully transferred to Tech. Where did you transfer from? What year were you in? Was it hard academically to make the switch from an "easier" school? Was it hard socially being a transfer? It would be so great to hear someone's experience firsthand. Even if you're not a transfer, what is Tech life really like?</p>
