Georgia Tech, UMN, or Michigan

So it's about 20 days until May 1st, and it's come down to GT, Minnesota, and Michigan. I plan on studying aerospace engineering or chemical engineering (definitely the latter at Minnesota). After getting rejected by my top two colleges, it's unfortunately come down to these choices. If I could get any input on this decision, any advice would be extremely helpful.

Money isn't a major problem for my family, as I'm getting nothing due to the "lovely" FAFSA. So tuition aside, I'm just looking for perspective on the programs available at each university and college life at each university. I am however getting about 10,000 from Minn each year and am on the waitlist for the President's Scholarship at GT.

Any help would be graciously appreciated.

Thanks.

I’ve heard Georgia Tech is kind of a weedout school, as in the weaker students fail out. U. of Michigan is good in a broad varety of engineering disciplines. Also, Ann Arbor is a wonderful town and there is a lot of school spirit there. Minnesota has an outstanding chem E program as you already know, but I don’t think it’s other engineering programs are on par with Michigan’s. Also, it’s pretty cold up there in Minnesota, isn’t it? If you’re not from there, you may want to consider that.

I used to live in Minnesota, and I’m currently in Nebraska, so I’m pretty much immune to cold weather.
