<p>UIUC is probably ranked higher in CS than GT. But GT has recently revamped their CS curriculum, and opened a new CS building, so it's probably a good option. GT is known for industry contact through internships and the co-op program, especially in the growing Atlanta area. CS graduates of UIUC regularly get jobs at Microsoft, west coast startups, and the big software firms.</p>
<p>Your question about transferring from Math to CS at UIUC was answered on the UIUC forum. At UIUC, Math is in A&S, while CS is in Engineering. Engineering at UIUC has significantly higher entrance standards and transferring will have GPA requirements based on your first year in A&S.</p>
<p>At GT, I believe you are free to change majors, even before you matriculate.</p>
