OK So I stole this from UCSD's forum oh well...
lol</p>

<p>I know that there have been a few posts about getting to know each other better if you are going to attend in the fall/winter of next year. But I figured I'd post one up w/ specific questions.</p>

<p>You can use this to get to know your classmates better, start making friendships, potentially find a dorm roommate, etc. So lets get this thing on the road.</p>

Going to pledge? Maybe...
Honors college student? Noooo
Sports you play/intend to play: Intramural idk whatever I feel like jaja
Joining any organizations: Most likely</p>

<p>Party? Heck yes! but not too much
Drink? Nooo [[taste is horrible]
Smoke? Heck no! its so gross!
What’s your perfect weekend? Chillin with family or friends and just havin fun! </p>

<p>Religion (in case it matters for some reason dont have to say if you dont want to): Christian, but not hardcore, and I haven't gone to church in a while but I need to...</p>

<p>Favorite music (go to concerts much?): Never been to a concert, but I pretty much like everything but Scream-O, Death Metal, and Hardcore Rock/Rap, but I do like Alternative, Christian & Gospel, Comedy, Country, Dance, Electronic, Hip Hop/Rap, Latin, Pop, R&B/Soul, Reggae, Reggaeton, and Rock! I looove music [[can't live w/out my ipod!]] lol
Favorite food: All jaja but spaghetti && pizza but also mexican food!
Favorite drink: Ice cold water
Favorite place to visit: Nvr been outside of Cali, so idk I wanna go to Australia..
Favorite place to be: Mi casa or outdoors with my family or friends
Favorite activity: Chillin && listening to music
Pet Peeve: When ppl blow things out of proportion! so freakin annoying!</p>

Do you snore? no ones ever told me i do lol
How important are your grades? important enough but not to the point where i have no life! theres a balance
Mind having people in your room, late night? only if im studying or sleeping!
Mind having people visit from home and stay in the room? look at the question before this one! jaja
Do you bring the drama? definitely nottt
How often do you talk on the phone? almost never lol i prefer texting : ]
Do you have any unordinary habits? ummm prob feeling the edges of my pillowcase and other soft cloths idk why but i did it ever since i was young it just feels good lol
What do you consider clean? everything spotless and germ-free which = bleach!
Do you consider yourself clean? heck yes! im very clean i dont even wear shoes in the house! but thats like an asian thing lol
Outgoing or shy? both - depends on the ppl im with if im with my friends then im outgoing and crazy but w new ppl shy until i get to know them
Active or lazy? both! i looove playing sports for fun but really havent been lately im been too lazy!
Do you know a lot of people going here? nooooo not even 1
Do you know a lot of people that already go here? yeah but she graduated : [

<p>Anything else about yourself that you'd like other people to know: im like the non typical student you would see at cal the one that doesn't study 24/7 and actually has a life other than video games, not to be judging ppl already...</p>

<p>I’m an international student. And the whole prospect of attending berkely thousands of miles away is very daunting. I know absolutely no one there nor do i know anyone who attended.</p>

<p>I really hope i can adapt and make friends</p>

What’s your perfect weekend? Complete rest and solitude

<p>Favorite music (go to concerts much?): Almost everything except death metal / thrash metal / rap
Favorite food: Nothing really. I eat to live not the other way round.

Favorite activity: Guitar/soccer ( i suck at both though )

Do you have any unordinary habits? I tend to twirl my hair when i’m tensed or anxious… which i’m most of the time… i have weak nerves

Favorite place to be: Berkeley Campus…It seriously feels like home as soon as I set foot on it

Outgoing or shy? I act very differently depending on the company I’m with, and hopefully college will allow me to unify those personalities into a single identity
Active or lazy? I tend to pick up the slack for a lot of people, so active in that respect

Do you know a lot of people that already go here? Several, but a few are graduating this year, so I won’t see them as fellow students

Jewish, but I’m really open-minded. I despise ppl who feel the need to try and convert ppl to their religion every 5 seconds by saying that I’m going to hell. It gets really old. Any other jews headed to Cal?</p>

<p>Favorite music (go to concerts much?): There’s a thread about this on the Berkeley Class of '13 on facebook, lol. I’ve been to a few concerts (faves: Sara Bareilles, Arlo Guthrie) and I’m going to see the Temptations and America really soon, I can’t wait! I like pretty much all music except rap. I’m really into reggae, motown, and 60’s folk at the moment.
Favorite food: Chocolate…or sushi.
Favorite drink: Strawberry-banana smoothies :stuck_out_tongue:
Favorite place to visit: Either Hawaii or Spain, or on the river with friends!
Favorite place to be: With friends.
Favorite activity: listening to music, rafting!
Pet Peeve: overly sensitive ppl and ppl who end sentences with prepositions.</p>

Do you snore? I don’t think so, but my sister says I breat really loudly when I sleep on my back. Whatever that means, lol.
How important are your grades? Pretty important, but i’m not going to freak out over a B+
Mind having people in your room, late night? Only if they’re distracting me.
Mind having people visit from home and stay in the room? Not really, as long as they’re not total creepers!
Do you bring the drama? I’m kind of the anti-drama. I avoid conflict whevenver possible.
How often do you talk on the phone? Not that often, but texting, oh yes! My parents will make me call them every week, ugh.
Do you have any unordinary habits? Um…not really. I keep mostly kosher, but that’s not really a habit :stuck_out_tongue:
What do you consider clean? You can see the floor, no garbage, but a little clutter is ok.
Do you consider yourself clean? Hygienically (lol) yes, but my books, papers, etc are kind of messy.
Outgoing or shy? I’m really shy until I get to kno ppl, then i’m still kind of quiet, but crazy!
Active or lazy? Both, mostly lazy. But I love the outdoors, camping, rafting etc. Definitely a procrastinator!

<p>Favorite music (go to concerts much?): I don’t listen much. I used to say I don’t like music, but I’ve recently started just listening to the radio. And I love Rock Band and Guitar Hero, so the classics are pretty awesome to me. And I may not listen to music, but I can remember crazy amounts of songs just from hearing them
Favorite food: I’m kind of picky. I like American food really, don’t like mexican that much. Asian food isn’t bad, I like Sushi, but I love a Burger and Fries any day
Favorite drink: Raspberry Iced Tea and just about any soda
Favorite place to visit: I don’t travel much, but there’s a lot of places I’d like to see. I hav fun going to Lake Tahoe and Disneyland though lol

Do you snore? Yes, I snore really, really loud. And I can’t take any noise when I’m trying to get to sleep. So I basically need complete silence or very little sound to get to sleep and then once I’m asleep I’ll snore the entire night
How important are your grades? Important. That’s what I’m going to do, but I would like to have a social life. And grades weren’t really serious to me in HS

<p>Anything else about yourself that you’d like other people to know: I like shoes. I have around 15 right now and my collection is just growing. I am a really nice guy though and I don’t cause a lot of problems. Once you get to know me I can be comfortable around you and I like to joke around and crack jokes.</p>
