so clark is probably the school i'm going to next year...anyone else want to chat?

this thread is unsually quiet
and don’t you mean this year? for the class of 2013?

My daughter, from Newton, MA, has been admitted and got decent financial aid, so it’s high on her list. She hasn’t visited yet - she’s going next week. She’s interested in English, liberal arts, music, graphic design, and likes the fact that Joe from Harry and the Potters goes there…what attracted you to Clark?

Why I applied to Clark was because my counselor recommended it for me. She told me it had a solid reputation, and it seemed like a fun place to live. The “international” and “out of state” students that Clark possess deeply intrigued me. One can always learn heaps from simply talking to other people, and it seems like a friendly campus.

I believe I will be attending as well. I have been weighting my other options, especially those with much higher prestige, and I believe Clark will be the best fit for me.

The fact that the University does not have separate colleges, that you are, in fact, admitted to any major you so choose to do, is a major plus for me.

The fact that it IS a University is a big Plus. Research!

I love Worcester, personally. It has the Palladium, where many international bands come to perform (such as Sonata Arctica!). It’s near Boston. Jumpin’ Juice and Java on Sunday’s =]

It is part of the list of colleges that “changes your life”.

Challenge Convention! GO CLARK! :-)

(I have actually not made a decision yet, but it is among the few that I am still debating)

@Scandi

Which other schools are you (have you been) considering? I assume you’ve made a decision by now.
