For one of my schools I was accepted as a transfer, they are offering me a ton of financial aid. The aid itself is able to cover all the tutition, room, board, and fees (no room for textbook money). Overall, the aid package is good; 2 grants and 1 subsidized stafford loan.

However, I want to be able to graduate with the minimum amt of debt as possible. Barring any kind of tuition increase or change financially in my parents, I should be in roughly the same situation I am this year, with roughly $5k unmet need when you ignore the loan.

With that being said, if I put in some average effort into the scholarship hunt (fastweb every weekend, apply to all applicable internal university scholarships), how easy would it be to make that $5000 disappear so that I have no debt for next year? What are the odds that I can get my needs met 2 years straight in a row? (if i take the offer I'll be transferring in as a sophmore) please keep it rational...yeah there are those $25000 scholarships out there, but i doubt i can win those, so assume each scholarship to be around a couple hundred to $1000.
