Glad to know you like Miele. I haven’t heard too much about them, the Houzz people are really into BlueStar, Wolf, etc and have turned down their noses at Monogram, Dacor, GE profile etc. I do not see the need to spend $15,000 on a range!!
We also had a Thermador (old design, not the star burner one) at our previous house. I liked it.
We bought a house a couple of years ago with an eight burner Viking stove that my wife loves. Probably similar to the Wolf (I’m no expert). The house also came with two Sub-Zeros and Bosch washer/dryer (that the repair folks waxed ecstatic over when they were fixing the Bosch dishwasher, which we have just replaced with a KitchenAid).
Brand reputations lag reality. I’ve heard that Miele dishwashers are no longer as good as they were (I wonder if this is true of stoves). Same is true about the Bosch washer/dryers.
