Hi,
I am thinking about going to Bus. Graduate School right after I finish my undergraduate program. However, the more I look into this idea, the more I think that most of the students who are currently in graduate programs have had several years of experience and are over 26. I am a junior right now, but have worked since I was 15. Currently I work as a part-time coordinator manager. my GPA in school is 3.7 in Bioinformatics. If I do well on GMAT, is there a chance to get into good Graduate schools? If anybody knows anything about this, please let me know. thank you!

When I got my MBA (many years ago) they were pushing for work experience before Bus school and some of the better schools would defer admissions pending getting more experience. From what I know its gotten even harder and they really want experience before starting B-school. Speaking from personal experience, even a junky job (I was an accounting clerk for a while) provides some experiences and perspective which can be really helpful when applying business theory.

I would try to hold a full time job for a few years before going to business school but it doesn't hurt to try and push the experience which you have on your application.
