Has anyone had (or heard of someone having) success or failures graduating from an undergraduate program at the University of Illinois at Chicago and not getting into a graduate program at a different school with a good GPA?
I’ve accomplished just that. My former professor has as well. A good GPA at any accredited school and/or relevant activities will get you into grad school.
One thing you have to realize is that there is much more to graduate admissions than a good GPA. Almost all graduate programs want to see that you are able to handle graduate level courses. With that being said, I recommend asking professors for guidance so that you can actually take a few graduate courses as an undergrad. This will drastically increase your chances at a top institution.
