I do community service at my mosque every Thursday (giving out food for the needy, etc.). I built a simple website for a business. I’ve been playing the sport of Fencing for a few years now (I know Peddie doesn’t have Fencing), and I’m taking the SSAT in 2 weeks. I’m taking two free online courses made by Princeton (one about CS, the other about how governments work in third world countries. Is this good enough for Peddie? I am an 8th grader applying to the class of 2025 for Peddie. I just want thoughts! Only God knows who’ll get in and who won’t haha.
Hey! I’ll chime in because I’m sure it sucks when no one gives feedback on your chance-me. First of all, I think you seem very kind, and you would be a wonderful addition to any school. You are certainly qualified for Peddie, and I’m sure you will be a strong applicant. With that being said, if your dream is to go to boarding school, I would apply to more schools (especially if you need financial aid). I know that’s kind of the standard advice here, but it’s true! Also, essays are incredibly important, and if you have trouble editing your essay, you can DM an adult on here. DO NOT openly post your essays here on CC- it can and will be stolen.

Thank you so much! I really should apply to more schools. Are there any Private schools in New Jersey that you know of that are good? And I am planning to be a day student!
I’m from the south, so I don’t really know much about private schools in NJ, but what I do know is that you can find some amazing schools on sites like Private School Review (privateschoolreview.com). You seem like a great candidate and person, and you’ll do great wherever you go! Good luck
Many families that consider Peddie as day students also look at Lawrenceville, Pennington, Hun, and George (right across the river in PA). It depends on where you live as to whether these are all commutable.
