<p>I'm a sophomore in high school and I've somewhat recently decided that acting is truly what I want to do. It's my dream to be on the big screen, or on stage, making people laugh and cry and just putting smiles on their faces. This why I want to go to college for acting, and It's always been another big dream of mine to live in New York, so NYU just seem to fit. I know there's other schools, but I've done some research and I really like this one. Anyway, acting is my dream and all, but I'm scared it is impossible for me to get the experience i need to have to get into the school. I live in a small town and the school i go to sucks ass. We don't even have a drama department. I'm going to get into my community theater this year and i was looking for an acting to coach around here to get lessons from (not having much luck btw, I live in Alabama). Long story short I'm scared I won't be able to get the experience i need to get into not just this school but any acting school by the time I graduate. Searching for advice from someone with experience or knowledge on this subject. Please help :( thanks</p>
