My name is Kyle and i'm currently a Sophomore at the University at Buffalo in New York. I am an Environmental Design major and still have 2 years left before I graduate with my Bachelors degree but I would like to get started on working towards getting into grad school right now.

The schools i'm looking at are as follows.

UCLA
USC
UC Irvine
San Diego State
University of Maryland
University at Buffalo (if all else fails)

I am a first generation college student so as far as grad school goes, i'm pretty stumped. I'm not really sure what to look for and what requirements I need to meet. I'm just starting to look at requirements and everything so I don't know too much but I'm basically just curious what grad schools really look for in applicants. I have a 3.2 GPA and it's only going to go up from there. I am only a sophomore but I am also working an internship as the lead urban designer at Buffalo's most vibrant and well known urban neighborhood. I would love to add some more experience to my resume but I need some help since my family doesn't know too much about this whole process. Thanks a lot for the help guys! I really appreciate it. :)
