<p>Hey, ya'll. How does the recommendation process actually work? I have a couple of professors who should like me well enough to write decent recs, but they don't know much about me. Would it be appropriate to compile a resume-type list of accomplishments/etc. and give it to them? Are they used to random students asking for this kind of stuff?</p>
<p>Have you ever been turned down for a recommendation before? I'm waiting for the last day of class to ask because it's kind of embarrassing (especially if one of them says no).</p>
