how good do you have to be at a sport to be recruited, and does being recruited increase your chances? thanks

Being recruited greatly increases your chances. How good you have to be depends somewhat on the sport. You should look at the roster of the current players and read about their high school times/accomplishments and see how you compare. You should also contact the coach.

You have to be really good in order to be recruited for a sport. Remember that you are going to represent the school, so if the school is oging to recruit athletes they might as well recruit the best they can.

I'm being recruted :)

are you really good in the sport that you are being recruited for?

That was a really stupid question. Of course alannancp is terrible. Why else would Penn recruit him? It's not like they want GOOD athletes.

him?
. .

The only reason that i asked that quesiton is because i wanted to know how good you have to be at that sport. You can ok in one sport and still get recruited and yet if you are ok in another sport the same wont happen. Sports for me are only to demonstrate to adcoms that i know how to balance my time and i want to challenge myself. I can say that i am good at the sport, but not that good to be recruited.

Sorry, I didn't know whether you were male or female. It's not like your username is "IamaGIRL".

i smell some tension. Cat fight.

No, I'm not remotely tense. That smell is probably just a sign that you need a shower.

ALANNAncp

sweetnSARAH, are you a girl?

Well I thought it was ALANnancp. Relax, it was a simple mistake

relaxed.

theworld: Am I good? Oh, you don't even want to know how good I am. eh but I might end up going to ... Penn State... (much better soccer) and then Penn for grad school?
