Getting to NU tomorrow (5/4/06)

<p>Has the Dan Ryan Expressway work started yet?...gotta head up to the campus from the south (I57 or I 65) and was checking online about traffic work....last time we went (in the fall) no problem but I see the plans are to reduce the lanes by half while the Dan Ryan expressway is redone and DOT is asking all cars to reroute...my son is so involved in the NU bubble he has no idea.</p>

<p>any info from locals or anyone with firsthand knowledge would be appreciated...</p>

<p>Yes. The Dan Ryan Expressway construction began on April 1. Good luck with traffic!!</p>
