<p>I recently applied for early decision and I was wondering if anyone had gotten accepted with a lower GPA. I graduated high school in 2011 from an Arkansas high school. Plenty of extracurricular activities/hours and two AP classes under my belt, as well. My grades did poorly (averaging a 2.5), though there was an obvious increase of my GPA from freshman to senior year. My ACT was an average 21 and I have no SAT score. As December 15th approaches and my application status is still ‘under review by the Admissions Committee’, I’m getting extremely nervous and desperate for an answer. Any closure would be extremely gratifying. Also, do you think employees of the university would have a greater chance of being accepted? </p>
