Congratulations to all who have received acceptances today. At least Gettysburg is consistent! I just remarked to my daughter earlier that it was exactly five years ago today that she got her acceptance.
To those of you who decide to attend, I hope your years at Gettysburg are as marvelous and fulfilling as hers were. For those still waiting on decisions, hang in there and good luck!

Also, I’m getting really stressed that I wasn’t accepted since I didn’t get anything in the mail today…why do I read into literally everything haha.

Accepted with Presidential Scholarship! So excited!
Nothing yet. No mail or email. They should at least give a UPS notification to the accepted ones.

For those that received their acceptance packets, were they sent First Class? Given that they were received as far as California, it seems that if D didn’t receive a packet she is not in.
^Please don’t say that. There are others here who are still waiting for their mail to arrive, and by saying this you are literally crushing their hopes.
I would not read anything into the package or notification not being received yesterday or today. They sent these out all over the country, its going to take varying amounts of time to be received. Its likely going to take until Friday for everything to be received.
Review your stats. If it is below 25% range, and you have not received mail while your peers got it in your area, then likely you won’t get accepted. They rush out to the accepted first, then take care of the rejected. That is just reality, but we rather receive the news quickly bad or good!
@Collegemom2016 Yet, someone else in my area said they were accepted last night. So the lateness doesn’t seem good. Oh well, 
@HPHstudent220 It seems they had about 400 more applications than last year. D is waiting as well, and I’m not too optimistic, but that being said it doesn’t mean it won’t come today. I am sure you will start at a wonderful school in the Fall. All of this seems so important right now, but believe me, in a year or two this will be a distant memory.
So many people from all different parts of the country received them yesterday (take a look at the Admissions Twitter account). It seems they likely sent them first class or some method designed to get have the packets all delivered the same day.
