Ghost FAFSA tab?

<p>On Thursday, I was looking at my UChicago application status page, and I saw a new tab that wasn't there before. Above the "income tax return" and "profile" tabs (which were both checked green), there was a new tab that I hadn't seen before labeled for FAFSA. I started freaking out because I thought that I might have forgotten something on my application. Now that I look however, the FAFSA tab is gone, and there are only two tabs in the Financial Aid checklist box. </p>

<p>What does this mean? Did anyone else turn in a FAFSA form with the commonapp? Isn't FAFSA supposed to be done separately from the college in January after you're accepted? If someone could clear this up for me, I would appreciate it.</p>

<p>Yeah, that last one was when the FAFSA tab appeared, I guess this time I was kind of wondering why it disappeared. But I see your point, sorry :/</p>
