They'd probably spend their presidency making jokes! :p

It'll be better than spending your presidency attacking countries for oil meanwhile killing thousands and thousands of people from both sides, losing all respect from the rest of the world, and ignoring issues that truly require a global superpower's attention, such as the genocide in Darfur. Bush can suck it!

Colbert and Stewart.

I'd definitely enjoy his state of the union address :D

I was severely depressed when I found out. GG is the ONLY thing I watch on TV, definitely the highlight of my week. I will miss it. I'm just upset because they didn't decide/announce this until only 2 eps were left, so eps had already been shot and there is like zero closure, imo. I think it deserves more than a 2 ep wrap-up, it needs to be more thought out.

I really liked the first three seasons.... and then all of the characters turned into caricatures, the 'witty banter' became unbearable, and the show drowned in its own quirkiness. The pointless story lines didn't help. So, I COMPLETELY abandoned Gilmore Girls around season five or something.

What I watch on TV now: Arrested Development (well, I watch AD DVDs), The Office, Monk, 30 Rock, Project Runway, Lost... yep, I think that's it. And random shows on HGTV, the History Channel, and the Discovery Channel =)

please tell me you are kidding. if it wasn't for that show i would have never pursued my dreams, and i mean that!

^^ Explain.

P.S. LesOs, I love Monk (and Psych too which used to come on right after Monk).

AHHH!!! I was wondering why the preview of the finale was like "say goodbye to gilfmore girls" I was thinking *** does that mean? I agree that the show started sucking in the later seasons. Why did Jess have to leave? And then they brought him back for just ONE episode!!! CRUEL I tell you lol.

Thank God for The Office lol :)

I like to watch: The Bachelor, Gilmore Girls, House, America's Next Top Model, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and The Amazing Race.

The Office is a great show...I don't normally get to watch it becuase of Ugly Betty.

well, it started sucking once amy sherman-palladino left. not funny anymore. so yeah.

"P.S. LesOs, I love Monk (and Psych too which used to come on right after Monk)"
Oh, yeah! I love Psych, too. I can't believe I forgot about that show.

Was the giant orange message directed at me or the thread in general?

Ughhh - the writing was, frankly, just terrible.

Just b/c characters talk a lot (and really fast) doesn't make it witty or interesting.

Veronica Mars has much better writing/dialogue (as did Buffy/Angel).

I am so sad. I love stars hollow. I may sound pathetic, but I don't care. Gilmore Girls was an escape- a gulity pleasure.

k&s:

Veronica Mars is, frankly, just plain terrible. Nanner.

I never did get into Veronica Mars. Maybe if I watched it more. House keeps me occupied.

I don't watch TV anymore... when I do though its usually Naruto O_____o
