girls?

I am really interested in Bryn Mawr, but am kind of nervous about the whole ‘all girls school’ thing. I’m aware that Mawr students can take classes at the neighboring Haverford and Swarthmore (and vice versa), but was mainly concerned about the the atmosphere of the college itself. (I’ve heard of amazing levels of cattyness that exists in girls only schools, and was wondering if this applied to Mawr…I really hope not :)) Any response would be greatly appreciated!

as far as cattyness goes...i really think that's going to be at any school. yeah, you can totally take classes at haverford, swat, penn, and i think nova too, but i'm not sure of anyone who has taken at nova. i don't think there's really more cattyness on this campus than on most..if anything, i'd guess less, since there aren't boys living here so less..direct competition for the guys. and i really think girls tend to come first here... like the whole girls before guys thing i actually think generally does apply here, since you're living with the girls and the guys are across the street or a few blocks down. if ya like bryn mawr, then you totally should come- girls will be girls, but here at least, they're a little weird sometimes, but really, really nice.
