Give me a study plan for Math 2

Which books?
Should I use spark notes online?
How long should I spend studying/how long per day?
Which practice tests should I take?
etc..

Thank you!

take a practice test from CB to see where you are at. Then ask again.

Are there any free tests that I can take? Or do I have to go buy the collegeboard book?

SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides

I think barron's mathII is a pretty nice book. I only went through this book carefully and then did both the exercises of Kaplan&barron. The real test was easier than barron I think, so I had the time to check the answers twice.
I hope this advice may help you.^_^

I just did the Barron's pre-diagnostic and I got

R: 21
W: 10
O: 19

21 - (10 x .25) = 18.5 ---> 19

19 scales to 580 according to sparknotes, and I heard that Barrons is harder than the normal test by 50 or so points so let's just say 580-630.

I feel confident I can at least get a 750+ on this... these are questions I definitely remember doing. Obviously, the 19 omits I had no idea what to do.

What book should I use?
Thank you!

Use Barrons along with Princeton Review. That should almost guarantee you an 800.

^agreed, took the same path, got a 790 :[

yeah...use Barrons and really learn how to use your calculator (big time saver). Good luck :)

Oh, remember to go through the answers details carefully, the way they solve problems might be helpful.

Thanks guys.

Has anyone improved from a 600ish to an 800ish? If you did (and this is directed towards you) how much studying did it take?

it took 2 weeks.

Imo PR itself is fine, I just glanced over it 2 days before...but then again I didn't score an 800...780 :/

If you have taken Pre-Calculus before it shouldn't be a problem. But get a review book anyway just in case you forgot some stuff. It took me like 5 days to go over it

Is the barron's diagnostic test accurate? I got like a 33 Raw which it according to its formula is a 690...
I had about 8 wrong and 7 omits (Yeah I know I suck).
I spent the past 2-3 days reviewing princeton review's concepts and then I took the diagnostic on barron's to see if I learned anything.

you are doing better than me shiomi...
i never got above a 650 on Barrons. I fail. lol

^I doubt it...that was the **diagnostic **test and I used that barron's formula for getting an "approximate score".
And I hardly consider a 790 on the real thing failing...-.-..

PS:
10 days and 6 hours more untl the scores come out LOL.

Please don't remind me lmao!
I'm trying to keep busy reading Brisingr!

red barron's overprep u for the Math 2. My god, i was crying when i got 5 questions wrong in a row on its practice test. Anyways, i ended up with a 790 on the real thing....ughhhh....just one question away from an 800.
