Hey, could you please give me a study schedule from now until may 6 for sat2. I am taking chemistry, math, biology. For Bio i took ap bio already so i am pretty good at that but want to review my princeton review book, for chemistry i will be following a schedule by

DREAMSOFIVY(i hope he/she doesn't mind me copying and pasting) 1) Read Barron's THOROUGHLY over the next week. Take notes. Do the practice problems in LONG FORM in a notebook so you can come back and reference them later. Buy a WHOLE new two-subject notebook to dedicate to this (notes/practice problems).
Time: Sunday 5/10 - Sunday 5/17. And Sorry to do this, but copy all terms from the glossary into a glossary of your own, based upon Chapter. When you see a bold word, look up the definition in the glossary and copy it down.
2) Buy the Princeton Review book. It is not as comprehensive as Barron's, but it gives good Review (hence the name). Read through this (notes not necessary.
Mon 5/18: Chaps. 1-6 (intro material mostly), Tues 5/19: Chaps. 7-10, Wed 5/20: Chaps. 11-14. When completed, stop. On the final two days of this schoolweek (Thurs and Fri), rewiew your notebook and practice problems.
3). On the Saturday 5/23, Take the Barron's Diagnostic test. See how well you do. If you get a 600+, we're doing well, proceed to step 4. If not, go back and review ALL notes, then proceed.
4). In the diagnostic test, you targeted areas you need help on. Use the following couple of days (5/24-5/28) to COMPLETELY review all problematic areas. Reread each Barron's section, PR section, and your notes completely. Also review the glossary you made.
5). Time for the true test. Hopefully you own the CB's Subject Test book (if not, buy it, it's the best gauge your gonna get). Take the Chemistry test in this book on Friday 5/29. Good luck! If you get above a 700 on this test, Congrats! Just chill and move on to step 6. If not, go back and review ALL notes and the glossary.
6a). Crunch time. The last week before the exam. There are 7 practice tests combined from both Barron's and Princeton Review. Do one each night. One saturday, one sunday, one monday, etc, all finishing with one on friday night before the exam. If you make errors, no worries, this is the SAT. Make SURE to review the explanations THOROUGHLY.
6b) If you make a mistake on a question and you really aren't sure how to do it, copy down the question on one side of an index card, and the answer/explanation on the other.

For math i barley KNOW anything! I am great at geometry ,but have no clue about trig. So could you please give me a schedule that includes bio and math to me already busy schedule for chem.

Thx!

Haha I have no problem with your borrowing lol.

And also, in order to give a schedule, I need to know two things:
- How much do you know about the subject already
- What is your goal for the practice test (and please don’t say 800, unless you HONESTLY would not be happy with a 790).

Like I said I have already taken AP Bio and only need to go through a sat review book, for bio so that i can make sure everything is good, in chemistry i am ok only know about half the stuff (and my trying the schedule you have already given), and for math I am only good at geometry and still need to learn trig. I am aiming for an 800 in each. I know it’s a bit of a hard goal but I am going to try my best until June 6. Please give me a schedule that will include everything. Also dreamsofivy, which subject tests did you take and what did you get on them?

Are you talking about Math I or Math II?

Why should your goal be anything less than perfect? Why shoot for 790/800. That’s like a sports team who shoots to make and lose the finals on a buzzer beater, ridiculous.

^exactly how I feeel

Can anyone suggest a schedule???

Are you really that incompetent that you can’t come up with a personalized schedule for yourself?

We don’t know how much you are willing to work a day. We don’t know what days you’d like to take off. We aren’t you!

^Yeah thanks for your stupid comment!

OD studying…I don’t know how people can study so much. My general studying strategy is read the review book once over before the day of the exam (this is usually finished the night before the exam), and if it isn’t past 11pm, I would do some MC problems. This almost always works well for me.

Your schedule is mad detailed and organized. If you stick to it, I think you will be really prepared. Just a thing I learned in AP Psych, you should still flip through a review book the night before the exam since you start forgetting stuff really quickly and you should sleep at least 6 hours a night to get the info properly ingrained in your memory.

I agree with The Government.

Although I would add that the first step in your and any study schedule should be to get the heck off a site like this. You can’t seriously expect to be able to run your own life if you constantly run to others for help. Don’t be That kid.

^ I sort of agree with The Government and Tilgaham you shouldn’t be wasting your time asking us to make a plan for you! Also if you really don’t know anything about Trig why are you taking Math II? Most people spend half a year learning Trig and there are usually 8-10 Trig questions on the test.

Hmmmm… well I guess I am going to try my best to keep away from my labtop. The Goverment could have worded his/her reply differently… but I will consider.

Of course I could’ve been less blunt… but that would’ve defeated the purpose of my post.

You have a brain!
Use it!
