As of now, I'm applying to:

UT Austin
Rice
Georgia Tech
Stanford
MIT

I feel rather unaccomplished compared to a lot of people on here, but whatever. I've had a great high school experience.

Electrical engineering is the most likely field I'll go into, and I'm also considering computer science. [aren't they closely related, though?]

So yeah, I'm looking for colleges with good engineering programs that I have a fair chance of getting in at. However, I don't think I'd really like a college that's small and mainly focused on engineering. I'm applying to MIT for the hell of it. As for GATech, my best friend is probably going there; I don't really want to attend.

Any help is appreciated.
