"Give us your top ten list"

I'm filling out my application and I don't know what this means! They aren't books, because books are in another part of the application.

Can anyone shed some light?

Also, how strong are Wake's admits' GPAs? I have great SATs, but I'm afraid that because of their "we only recommend SAT scores" policy, they'll focus much, much more on GPAs. Mine are 3.5 unweighted and 4.23 weighted. Is this about right?

I think the top ten can be anything you want. My son put his top ten favorite bands.

I think your GPAs are in the ballpark, especally weighted. Just to be safe, submit your SATs. If they’re really great, like you say, I have to believe they’ll help your case.

By all means send your scores if they’re good – why wouldn’t you?

Thanks for the help.
Yeah, I’m definitely submitting my SATs… I was just wondering if my GPA will be a much more significant admission factor than them, or if a good score (2250) will make up for a mediocre uwgpa.

i basically put a really random list of my 10 ten favorite things for my “top ten list”… when i visited, an admissions person said it can be really anything. they’re just looking for creativity and to learn more about you

I did top ten movies since i wrote about film in another section (the way you perceive the world one) and my GC said that was fine…

I have a friend that did his top 10 colleges and put Wake around #5…idiot
