Freshman year, for some reason, I didn't care about my grades. My worst were a C+ and then a B- for the two terms of Honors Bio.

Fast-forward to now, the summer before senior year. I've found that I LIKE science (particularly Physics), and I want to major in engineering. However, as I will be applying as this, I figure it's at least somewhat important I demonstrate an aptitude for all sciences, even if they're not especially necessary for my field of interest. Would this be correct?

I know if I could do the class over, I could do well and actually learn the material. So, should I take this summer to study it inside and out, and take the SAT subject test in Oct. to prove I'm not lacking when it comes to this subject? Is this realistic?

Finally, I really don't remember anything from the class. Will it still be sufficient to study using just a review guide? Or will I need to somehow get my hands on a textbook too? Thanks for your input!
