Giving a valentine to a CCer

Today I sent a valentine to this girl (a CCer) who I’ve been long associated with. Btw, we live in the same state. Was this a bad idea?

I'm sure she'll answer you as soon as she sees this thread, lol.

Nah, she never visits the high school forum (at least I don’t think she does).

do you think she'll like what I wrote?

"I am so glad to have gotten to know you this year! You are a very special girl and you will be in my heart forever."

That's cute.

Resend it missme. I didn't receive it. :p

that's creeepyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

i would definitely not trust that they wouldn't look through this forum...
good luck.lol

why is it creepy sr?

or maybe you're just jealous ;)

Yeah! That's it.......-__-

I don't know, you only e-know the person at this point

hey why not? sending un-e stuff makes sure that the person you know online's for real.

I agree, it is a bit...odd :\ I would def be sketched out if someone sent me a valentine online from here.

haha... if you really had sent the girl anything, she'd be justified(<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=1650245#post1650245%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=1650245#post1650245</a>) in being a bit creeped out.

^whoa.

im guessing missme came clean then?

I'm assuming he must have, or else how could he write a Valentine to another CCer with that message, unless said CCer is interested in females.

I've gotten to know quite a few CCers off the CC board and into Yahoo/MSN. They're all authentic, either seen their pictures or websites or connected to them through Friendster, though I haven't seen all of their pictures. In fact, I met one CCer last year, in November, I believe. Quite a nice girl.

That said, unless the relationship between you two is really comfortable and you both understand each other, she won't think it's too weird. But it does seem to move a little too...fast? "you will be in my heart forever"...

I'm fine with sending Birthday e-cards, if they told me their birthdays, to fellow CCers I know offline, but you're kinda moving fast.

Btw, a bit presumptuous to assume she never visits the High School section. People never leave footprints if they lurk.

I know one lady who met her husband on a Pearl Jam forum. She said they first started exchanging PMs, then he gave her a call, then visited her..and so forth. Today, they're living happily with two children.

power of forums, eh?

she still hasn't PM me back...:(

Posting that sort of indicates you want to call her and live happily with two children. Maybe that's why she hasn't PM'd you back. :p

...lol mirror
